Pros

VIP Suite offers panoramic views of the historic Boston State House

Over eight restaurants within 0.3 miles, including Legal Crossing and Ruka Restobar

Made-to-order omelets available at morning buffet

Room service allows dining from king-sized beds

Cons

Boston Common and Old City Hall require 0.5 miles walk

Museum of Science located 1 mile from property

“Hyatt Regency Boston wins for location, steps from Boston Common and the Theater District. I like that it has over 30,000 square feet of meeting space, positioning it as a business hub, but I think it's also a good option for families visiting the city. Just be aware that the area around the hotel can be quite crowded.”

Excellent Location, Friendly Staff

central locationhelpful staffmodern roomunusual elevator
The hotel is conveniently located near many attractions. The staff were always available and ready to assist. I found the rooms to be adequately sized and modern. I also found a fully stocked CVS half a block away. This was useful.
I found the elevator system unusual. Guests must take one elevator to the third floor and then transfer to another elevator to reach the guest rooms. This could be streamlined.
Dining
9/10
The morning breakfast meals offer a great selection. Breakfast includes a wide variety of choices that should accommodate most palates. The restaurant staff are very friendly and professional.
Rooms
8/10

i liked that the room was spacious (it was easy to move around). the staff were also friendly, and the location allowed me to walk everywhere.
the bathroom door did not latch shut, i found this provided zero privacy. also, the restaurant service was not good and the food was the worst i had in the area.
