Built in 1913, the Alaskan Hotel is the oldest operating hotel in Juneau. The Victorian building is on the National Register of Historic Places. The hotel nearly faced condemnation in 1976 but was saved. The hotel features a well-preserved Victorian style. Mike and Bettye Adams renovated the hotel to its original Victorian style in 1982.
