the breakfast was really good and the staff were very helpful. my room had a lovely view of penarth bay. the reception team upgraded me to a junior suite at check in it was a very nice surprise.

the toilet seat in my room was dirty i had to ask for a cleaner. there were also stains on the walls and carpet. some wires were hanging out from the tv it was not a good look.

The location was acceptable as a base for exploring.

The parking situation seemed like a scam. I prepaid for parking but still received multiple fines. Their system clearly fails. The room's air conditioning blew cold air constantly, and staff couldn't fix it. The remote control didn't work either, so I couldn't even turn off the TV!

the standard king room balcony minifridge offered a great view of the bay. i appreciated the minifridge in the room. breakfast was well-organized with a wide variety of options.

the car park was inadequately small and often full i had to park in the adjacent council car park. this required using an app to pay the parking fee in bad weather.

I had a massage at the spa! My massage therapist was Kanchan and she was very skilled. She checked about my nut allergy and made sure the oil was safe for me. She gave me a relaxing massage.

The food quality was not great. It was often cold and under-seasoned. It took a very long time for it to arrive.
