“In my opinion, the hotel's clifftop location and historic charm are undeniable assets; the multiple pools and gourmet restaurant add significant appeal. However, some areas appear to need updating to fully meet five-star expectations, particularly regarding spa maintenance. Overall, it's a solid choice with potential for greater refinement.”

Acceptable Stay

great choicessunset viewspoor pressurebathroom heating
The breakfast had great choices. I especially enjoyed the locally sourced ingredients (the pastries were amazing!). The sunset views from the hotel were very nice.
The shower water pressure was poor and not functional. I had to make two complaints to get a maintenance person to improve it, but it was still marginal. The bathroom heating was controlled by the hotel. It only came on at 4:30 PM, and it took an hour to warm up.

Amazing Stay with Amazing Views

seafront cottagesea viewaqua cluboutdoor pool
I stayed in a seafront cottage, and the sea views were very nice from nearly every room. The location is fantastic! It is slightly away from the crowded center. The Aqua Club was a hit with the kids. The splash pool and outdoor pool overlooking the coast were superb.
The bathrooms in the cottage are showing their age, but this is a minor detail.
