“I found it to be a boutique establishment steps from the beach, with an unexpectedly charming walled garden. The art-focused decor, featuring local artists, lends a warm feel, and the proximity to Hove's restaurants is a definite plus. I particularly appreciated the quirky touch of the atomic wall clock; it's a detail that speaks to the hotel's unique character.”

Review summary
Based on recent reviews

Guests frequently mention the spacious rooms that are well-appointed. While some have noted occasional noise issues or slow breakfast service, its location in central Hove, just a short walk-100 meters-from the seafront promenade, makes it convenient to reach the beach and nearby restaurants. The area of Hove is also considered very pretty.

The breakfast offered a very good selection, with main courses cooked to order. I chose the full English, and IT was scrumptious. The little garden was lovely, perfect for a quiet moment. The bed was comfy, ensuring a restful sleep.

a mixed experience

tired looking placemarked walls
i phoned from the train. i was excited for a stay in what i thought was a really luxurious place. i arrived to a tired looking place with a smell of times gone by. the carpet had 70's vibes and the walls were marked. i think it needs a refurb.

early breakfastcold waterlack of privacy
The staff were helpfull and cute, so that was acceptable. The hotel started breakfast early on the day of the marathon at 6:45 am, which I thought was fine.
The water in my room was not very hot, which really bothered me. I also did not like the art festival. I was emailed about it, but it still seemed like I had no privacy with people walking around viewing art right outside my room. It seemed like I was in a museum.
