Riverbend Guest House is in the central Fraser Valley of British Columbia, 90 minutes east of Vancouver. The guesthouse has ground-level guest accommodations configured for varied needs and budgets. Accommodations include the Vedder River Cabin, Retreat Room, and Slesse/Cheam rooms. The Riverbend Cabin accommodates 2-3 people. The Retreat and Slesse/Cheam rooms accommodate up to 6 guests. The Retreat and Slesse/Cheam rooms feature a private entry, private bathroom, and access to a 550-square-foot furnished covered deck with a barbeque. Guests have access to a common lounge/kitchenette area and outside sundeck. The Slesse/Cheam rooms accommodate 2-4 guests, providing separate bedrooms with a bathroom between them. Each Slesse and Cheam room includes 2 twin beds.
On-Site Amenities
Guests have access to a microwave, fridge, dining table, couches, TV/DVD, Wi-Fi, DVD, book library and board games, computer, and woodstove for drying fishing gear. A 10-foot outdoor patio table with fish engraved on the skirting, a King Size log bed frame, 2 single log bed frames, log coffee table, log bedside table, log picnic tables, outdoor coffee table, sliding bamboo & canvas doors, log corner shelf, and fly boxes built out of bark are some of the on-site ammenities. Meals are served on the covered, heated deck or in the guest lounge. The Huntingdon Border crossing from Sumas WA to Abbotsford is Chilliwack's closest border crossing.

Riverbend Guest House is near the Vedder River, a world-class area for salmon fishing, river rafting, and kayaking. Chilliwack River Rafting is moments away, and Hyak Rafting adventures are also nearby. Guests can hike local trails, take a short drive to area attractions, or plan a day trip. Activities include Vedder River fishing, swimming at Chilliwack or Cultus Lakes, rafting with Chilliwack River Rafting (2 km), sturgeon fishing on the Fraser River, and Cultus Lake waterslides. Elk-Thurston Mountain, Pierce Lake Trail, Mt Cheam Trail, Slesse Memorial Trail, Lindeman Lake & Flora Lake trailhead, Radium Lake, Williams Ridge & Ford Mountain are the area's main hiking locations.
