outdoor chairs quality fittings
the two-bedroom bungalow was stylish. it was decorated with quality fittings and furnishings. the location overlooking the river included a decking and comfy outdoor chairs. i used the firepit often.
gravel everywhere made too much noise. constant traffic passed by, even people walking past made too much noise on the gravel. i woke early on saturday and sunday mornings.

fantastic family gathering
onsite facilities family gathering good condition bikes row boats
it was perfect for our family gathering of 12 people. we used the fantastic onside facilities including the bikes (bikes were in good condition) and row boats. it was easy to spend the whole day on the water.
i appreciate the elizabethan apartment is meant to be old, however there is no excuse for blown light bulbs. wasps and flys were in the apartment (alive and dead in the window ledges). picture hooks were just left on the side and the extractor fan on the oven was not working.

I discovered spacious rooms and a bathroom attached to every bedroom! the amenities and extra activities added such fun to my stay. the accommodation right on the river looked fine. it was really peaceful. I even saw ducks strolling past.
I noticed gravel everywhere created constant noise. Traffic increased the sound even more. people walking by also created noise on the gravel. i was woken early both saturday and sunday morning.

gravel paths hamster cage smell
the provided tea and coffee pods were acceptable.
the bikes were difficult to ride due to the gravel paths. i also found the lack of air conditioning in the lodge problematic as it became quite stuffy. there was an unpleasant smell inside, like a hamster cage, whenever i returned after it had been closed up.

Acceptable stay at the hotel
beautiful location lovely grounds helpful staff poor information incorrect description missing procedure
The location was beautiful. The grounds are lovely to walk around. Staff were helpful and answered all questions promptly.
The arrivals information did not arrive in good time. This left me with no idea of the procedure. I had to telephone for instructions. The accommodation description was incorrect because a living room was listed but was part of the bedroom.
