attentive staff maintained gardens delicious breakfast easy exploration
i loved how attentive the staff was. the gardens were perfectly maintained, i noticed! breakfast was delicious with so many choices. the location made exploring super easy. i especially appreciated the lovely coastal trail nearby and the gardens!
The room decor was a tad outdated. The floral wallpaper wasn't really my style, though everything was clean.

the breakfast buffet included fresh fruit, yogurt, and a full english breakfast. staff worked hard ensuring the breakfast bar had hot food constantly. tables were cleared quickly, so there was always space.

the hotel is a short walk from the coastal trail and cleveland way, which i loved! regular buses run to nearby attractions, that's great! there are also several pubs within walking distance.

beautiful lounges provide a place to relax and enjoy the quiet! walking around the gardens was a highlight, i spotted lots of plants and birds. the site is huge and clearly cared for.

The location provided easy access to local attractions. The gardens are well maintained. I found the breakfast to be satisfactory. The staff members are friendly and helpful.
My room was quite basic and could benefit from updates. There was no TV available in the room. I had difficulty entering when I returned late one evening. I had to call to get assistance.

the location felt very nice. i could see the ocean from my window and i was happy. it was interesting reading about how this place came to be too.
the room i had was very basic and in need of a little update. there was no tv or radio in the room. i think new toasters are required as the small toasters aren't really up to a busy breakfast time though.

A Tranquil Retreat

The grounds were beautiful. The gardens had various plants and different areas. It was a haven for birds and insects. All the staff I met were very friendly. They worked hard to ensure the breakfast bar had hot food. I greatly appreciated the option of not having my room cleaned.

The building stands on beautiful grounds, well cared for. My room was lovely and warm, offering beds of great comfort. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was first class, with a picturesque view from my room, capturing both the countryside and the sea.
The bathtub showed some rust, detracting slightly from the overall experience.
