the breakfast was good and had a great selection.
the cleaning service really was not good. i had to ask many times for things such as new water bottles and more tea bags. the bathroom sink was clogged and they did not fix that while i was there as maintenance staff had left early.

The Beautiful King Room offered ample space. A quiet atmosphere was maintained inside the room. The balcony provided an excellent space to enjoy the sunshine and a morning coffee. The location facilitated easy access to amenities in De Pijp, including the Albert Cuyp Market.

dark roomflooded bathroom
the room was quite dark. the shower design allowed water to easily flood the bathroom floor.. this was rather annoying. also, i found the reception staff to be unhelpful and somewhat rude, which wasn't a great first impression.

I appreciated the really kind staff, they were helpful. The location was quite convenient to the museum quarter, a short walk away. I found the bed in my beautiful twin room comfortable.
The restaurant was closed somewhat early in the evening.

the room was perfect for 2 people. i got an upgrade to a room had a water view. the location was good too, it was a bit far from the city centre but close enough walking to charming bars and restaurants. front desk were helpful too.
the cleaning service was poor. we had to ask for many things like replacing water bottles or replenishing tea bags. the bathroom sink was clogged and it was not fixed . it was inconvenient.

the bathroom had a see-through glass wall , WHICH lacked privacy. the hotel seemed to bypass common sense in its effort to be trendy , WHICH affected comfort.
