The Castle Inn is often praised for its lovely and clean rooms with an olde-worldly feel, as well as a hearty breakfast that sets guests up well, especially before a long drive. Many appreciate the plentiful parking available, and the restaurant is a highlight for many, though some have noted that the lighting can be a little too dim at times. Guests enjoy the comfortable beds and pretty village location in Spofforth, close to the castle.

FANTASTIC Stay!

generous optionsbeautiful areaamazing singergreat selection
I REALLY loved the generous veggie and gluten-free food options in the restaurant! The dining area was beautifully decorated. It felt airy and modern. I enjoyed the live music in the pub area SO much. The singer was great! The wine selection was also a HUGE plus (i mean, who doesn't love wine?).
The car park uses ANPR. I had to add my registration details upon arrival. This caused me a small amount of stress regarding potentially staying longer.
