The location offered convenient access to the lake district. It was great. the breakfast selection included a lot of options and everything tasted fresh. the staff was very cute and friendly.
The room decor looked very old and tired. It needs updating. i found some dust on the bedside lights, not good. the tv placement at the bottom of the bed made it difficult to watch from a lying position.

mixed experience

friendly staffloud staircaserunning water
the staff were friendly and the included breakfast was really nice.
i stayed in a room next to a stairwell. the noise of other guests talking and walking on the wooden staircase kept me awake. i also heard water running behind the wall every time a toilet flushed (it was quite loud).

the bed in room 11 was not comfortable at all it was lumpy. the mattress topper was too thin to disguise the lumps. i also noticed mystery unlabelled liquids in the bathroom i found that a bit odd. a leaking shower head was a minor inconvenience i think they could fix it easily.
