Hotel du Vin Newcastle, formerly the Tyne Tees Steam Shipping Company building, features 42 rooms and suites. Rooms include comfy handsprung mattresses, fine Egyptian linen, deep baths and powerful drench showers, plasma TVs, and air conditioning. Junior Suites offer a double or king bed, a bathroom with a walk-in Monsoon shower and free-standing roll-top bath, and seating. The Bridge View Suite has a king-size bed, lounge area, plasma TV, and a mezzanine-level bathroom with a roll-top bath and walk-in Monsoon shower with views of the River Tyne. The Signature Suite, Thierry Lombard, includes a 9ft bed, large seating area with plasma TV, twin roll-top baths, and a double walk-in Monsoon power shower.
Bistro Dining
The Newcastle Bistro features natural daylight, reclaimed dark-stained floorboards, renewed fireplaces, art, and lighting. Breakfast is available Monday to Friday from 7am to 10am and Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holidays from 8am to 11am. Lunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 4pm. Dinner is available Monday to Thursday and Sunday from 6pm to 9pm, and Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 10pm. Appetisers are offered from the French Market Table, followed by classic dishes, roasts, and desserts. The hotel features an extensive and eclectic wine list, with a variety of wines by the glass. The bar provides a backdrop for meetings.

Mixed Experience at Quayside Hotel
missing charcuterie indifferent staff
The room was a good size for one person it was a Beautiful Room.
My breakfast order experienced errors each morning I was there staff seemed indifferent to the problems. The charcuterie advertised for the continental breakfast did not exist. I found this unacceptable considering the price.

the room was clean the staff was friendly. the hotel is near some good places to eat. the bed provided comfort . i appreciated the well situated location for exploring nearby attractions and dining options. i enjoyed the warm atmosphere of the venue.
the room was dark and the bathroom lighting was poor. the hairdryer was broken. there was no makeup mirror available.

helpful staff designed menu
The reception staff was helpful. the lobby features easy chairs and soft lighting. It creates a relaxing atmosphere. i ordered eggs benedict with salmon for breakfast. The menu was thoughtfully designed. there was also a good selection of cooked and continental options.
i found the room was quite noisy, with sounds from the road noticeable throughout the night.

nespresso machine occitan toiletries huge shower
the room included a nespresso machine and occitane toiletries which i liked. the walk-in shower for couples was huge and convenient. the king-size bed offered very good comfort.
the fries i had at the bistro weren't homemade.
