the staff were doing their best, i will say that much.
Honestly, it was a bit of a letdown. the bedroom door lock was broken . the dinner situation was ridiculous. A five-course set menu for £59? it was more like an obstacle course. and they wouldn't even let us order the fish and chips because it was too smelly.. seriously???

i saw deer in the garden from the terrace. the staff were helpful and friendly. breakfast choices were superb. i really enjoyed it. the food was fantastic with a tasting menu.
i noticed a dog smell in our room, though i expected it because dogs are allowed.

the ground floor bedroom featured a huge amount of space. there were two fitted wardrobes with an inset table and mirror alongside numerous drawers. a kettle and a coffee machine are available. all bathroom products are from natural sources.

staff were warm and cute. They was always helpful, also knowledgeable about nearby areas. rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.
tv did not work in one room, satellite cable was damaged. Doors did not lock in many rooms, and this made us felt unsafe. I had to run water for five minutes to get hot water.
