underwhelming experience

boiled eggsunder-resourced
the poached eggs at breakfast were more like boiled eggs (i was very disappointed). the hotel seemed under-resourced. there was only one person who could make a cocktail for my wife, a distraction for the staff as they just wanted everyone in the dining room.

Satisfactory Stay

clean roomcomfy bedunfulfilled requestawkward storage
The room was really clean and tidy , and I found the bed super comfy. Parking was also convenient . There were plenty of spaces available.
I requested an easy-to-access room , as I am recovering from a back injury. My request was not accommodated , and the kettle with tea and coffee was stored awkwardly.

Decent Stay with Some Issues

high pricesaverage meal
The evening meal did not impress me. A pre-ordered two-course set menu cost £35. The cost of two coffees in the bar after dinner was £13.00. The prices felt high for the quality (I think a small biscuit should come with that coffee).
