fantastic staff and a nice stay

the staff was warm and friendly, especially the general manager. i found the function rooms busy with guests. the atmosphere in the bar felt nice. breakfasts were amazing and i thought the evening meal had large portions.
i found the carpets throughout the building a bit dirty. i think they require replacement or a change to hard flooring. our room faced a main road. i noticed gaps above the windows that let noise in, though the double glazing was there.

the hotel provides a bus stop nearby, it was simple to leave the car. transportation into the city was therefore convenient, and this facilitated easy access to various points of interest.

The breakfast was good quality and freshly cooked. The hotel gave me a ground floor room as requested. Room 2 has a very modern wet-room. I found it very convenient.
Parking was difficult to find. It was almost always full. I had trouble lifting my heavy suitcases up to the second floor because of the stairs. The water pressure in my room was weak. The water got cut off in the middle of my shower.
