Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Ibis Manchester Centre impresses guests with its spacious rooms, some even noting they are generous for Manchester standards, and convenient access to transportation hubs like the train station. Guests also appreciate the included breakfast, served in the adjacent Novotel, which features a well-stocked and varied buffet; though some have mentioned the walk to the Novotel might be less appealing in bad weather. You'll also find the hotel is perfectly located to easily access both budget-friendly and high-end shopping destinations. The location puts you in the centre of everything, with easy access to China Town, Piccadilly Gardens, the city centre, and high street shops.

good locationbreakfast buffetcramped roombad drains
The location is good. It is close to the train station and theatres. The breakfast offered variety and was well stocked. It was served in the Novotel, attached to THE building.
The room i had felt quite cramped, especially the bathroom. The drains smelled REALLY bad in the bathroom. Nothing was done to fix it and the smell seeped into the bedroom.

adequate, but with some drawbacks

subpar air conditioningstreet noise
THE air conditioning system was subpar. It did little to cool the room. Noise from the street was a problem. I could hear everything happening outside, even with the windows closed, interrupting my sleep.

Solid stay

helpful staffspacious roommissing locker
The staff were friendly and helpful. I got an early check-in free after I downloaded their app. The rooms are spacious with a pod styled bathroom. Breakfast is at the sister hotel next door.
There was no telephone in the room so I could not contact reception. The room lacked a safe locker for valuables. I found this inconvenient.
Dining

Breakfast is served in the attached sister hotel. The breakfast was english. Service at breakfast was good. There was varied choices for breakfast.
