a magical birthday escape
thoughtful staff delicious fruits special attention
i came for a short birthday getaway, and the staff, rita in particular, charmed me. they showered me with kindness for my special day, replacing a cheese platter with a beautiful fruit arrangement when i mentioned my lactose intolerance. they also stocked the mini fridge with non-alcoholic drinks, such a thoughtful gesture.
I found that the garbage trucks outside were quite loud early each morning. It was not ideal, though i managed alright!

The restaurant onsite, ponja, impressed me with its delicious offerings and attentive manager, rodrigo. His hospitality skills were really good. i wish him great success in his career and his staff as well, especially carlos, a kind and helpful waiter who secured us a table at an amazing cod restaurant.

My double room interior courtyard felt both spacious and comforting. It invited rest after a day of exploring. the bed offered the sweetest dreams, and waking up there was divine, like a soft embrace in the city's heart.

good amenities modern bathroom convenient location poor air conditioning noisy street slow service
My room, a suite vista alegre, was very nice. it had good amenities and a modern bathroom. the hotel's location was also convenient. I could easily walk to many attractions. breakfast was very tasty and had many fresh options
The air conditioning in my room did not work very well. It made sleeping difficult. the street outside was quite noisy, even at night. i found the service in the restaurant to be a bit slow. it was hard to get the server's attention.

the location was good enough, though the breakfast buffet included fresh juice.
i was promised a quiet room, but i got a room facing the street. around 6:45 am, a garbage truck came to collect from all the bins right outside my window, and it was loud. the hotel staff seemed aware of this issue.

wonderful balcony attentive staff sushi dinner
the room had a wonderful balcony! it faced the river! breakfast included a large selection and the staff was attentive. the sushi dinner i had was excellent. so good!
the room was next to the housekeeping room! i was woken up early by carts banging and doors slamming. i had to tell them about it. they were noisy.
