Landmarks near the property are: Zukia Art Gallery (2 km), Jaco Beach (1 km), Del Mar Surf Camp (1 km), Mirador De Jaco (2 km), Le Loft (1 km), and Tortuga surf school (0.3 km). The bars and restaurants of downtown are a short walk away. The small village of Jaco is 1 mile long.

The reception is staffed from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily. Security will assist with late-night check-ins and limited customer requests from 7 pm to 8 am. Beach Break Resort's reception can arrange trips to Manuel Antonio National Park and Vista Los Suenos Rainforest Canopy. Delivery service of food and meals is available to the hotel and lounge area. Housekeeping is available to replace towels and linens. Rooms are cleaned every third night for longer stays.
