the tartan room was spacious enough for four people. it included tea, coffee, television, and free wi-fi. breakfast was excellent. the hosts james and leesa were good too.
i think some coat hooks for damp coats would be beneficial.

the breakfast was very good. i especially enjoyed the locally sourced ingredients. the room, a standard twin room, was clean and well maintained (everything felt fresh).
The wi-fi signal was a little weak in my room. i also noticed that the soundproofing could be better. I heard some noise from the hallway (it was a minor issue, though).

nice breakfast areaerratic shower temperature
the breakfast seating area was quite nice, with lots of natural light.
the shower temperature was erratic (it fluctuated from hot to cold without warning). this made showering quite unpleasant.
