Domus Australia has 32 rooms with oversized beds that can be joined or remain separate. Each room includes ensuite facilities with walk-in showers, a 32-inch LCD TV with satellite channels, a safe, a bar fridge, air conditioning, heating, iron and ironing board, complimentary WiFi, and coffee/tea making facilities. Rooms can accommodate one to four people, depending on the room type. Superior Rooms overlook the courtyard and include a single sofa bed for a third person. Family Rooms also overlook the courtyard and feature two single sofa beds for a third and fourth person. Cots are available for an additional charge of €10.00 per night. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available, featuring a 2-meter shower hose and the option to add a shower chair.

The Cardinal Moran dining room serves breakfast and dinner, and opens onto the courtyard with Italian cloisters. Guests can have meals inside or outside. The rooftop terrace provides cocktails, drinks, and casual meals prepared fresh from the bar and grill. The Cardinal Knox Centre also provides dining experiences. Domus Australia comprises four blocks around a central internal garden courtyard. The Chapel of St Peter Chanel seats 150 people, with Mass in English celebrated daily. The rooftop terrace has an Italian garden setting and can accommodate 100 people. The Cardinal Knox Centre is a large conference/event space that can seat 150 people or accommodate 200 people standing. The Archbishop Hickey Lounge is an intimate space for reading, mingling, or playing games, and it contains paintings of Australia. The courtyard can be used by groups of up to 50 people. The venue is equipped with audio-visual equipment, a stage with lighting, and catering facilities.

Domus Australia is located in Central Station, 300 meters from Repubblica Metro, and 150 meters from bus routes to the Vatican. Stazione Termini is a ten-minute walk. The shopping area of Via Veneto, the Spanish Steps, and the Villa Borghese gardens are within walking distance.

Domus Australia offers a 24-hour reception. Check-in is from 2:00 pm, and check-out is at 10:30 am. The bar is available during restaurant opening hours. The hotel provides self-service laundry and dryer facilities available 24 hours. English-speaking staff can assist with planning stays in Rome, including Papal Audiences and visits to the Vatican Museums. The Archbishop Hickey Lounge is available for private meetings of up to 35 people. Elevators are unattended from 12:30 am to 6:30 am.
