Ecola Creek Lodge provides accommodations with features catering to varied needs. 'Family Friendly' 1-bedroom suites include a queen bed, gas fireplace, TV, sleeper sofa, and a kitchen. Rooms 16 and 17, located on the ground floor, offer small decks that face the koi pond, courtyard, and gardens. Select suites have full kitchens. The 'Family Size' king two-bedroom suite features a king bed in one bedroom, a queen bed with a twin bed in the other, a sleeper sofa, a gas fireplace, and a TV in the living room. Room 21, situated upstairs, has views of Ecola Creek and the Ocean. Second-floor Room 19 has a balcony with partial views of the Ocean and koi pond/garden. Rooms 1, 5, 8, and 15 are located on the ground floor and have views of the lawn and garden. Rooms 12 and 14 include sleeper sofas. Room 9, described as 'Quaint & Cozy' on the ground floor, opens out to the koi pond. Some units include a compact fridge, microwave, TV with DVD player, and dining table with chairs. Some 2-bedroom suites have views of the front lawn and a seating area with a gas fireplace. Haystack Rock's tidepools are home to intertidal animals, such as sea stars, anemones, crabs, chitons, limpets, and nudibranchs. Haystack Rock is part of the Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge. The area south of the lodge features a sweep of shoreline backed by a ridge of coastal mountains and the town of Cannon Beach. The entrance road opens to a grassy bluff with views of the Pacific Ocean. The intertidal area is one of Oregon's seven Marine Gardens.
