Fairlane Hotel Nashville, By Oliver - A retro-modern downtown hotel with floor-to-ceiling windows, rooftop dining, and local-inspired amenities

Located in downtown Nashville's business district, this 4-star Nashville hotel features floor-to-ceiling windows throughout its retro-modern architecture. The Fairlane Hotel Nashville, By Oliver offers rooms equipped with 55-inch flat-screen TVs, euro-top beds, marble showers, and mini-bars stocked with locally-sourced snacks. Dining options include Ellington's Restaurant serving Southern-inspired fare for lunch, brunch, and dinner, plus a rooftop terrace bar with wraparound views. The property houses a fitness center with Peloton bikes, multiple meeting spaces, and business rooms with presentation monitors. Guest accommodations include accessible rooms with adapted bathrooms and safety features. The Fairlane stands within walking distance of Broadway's music venues, Tennessee Performing Arts Center, and government buildings, positioned 0.5 miles from Ryman Auditorium and Tootsies Orchid Lounge.

Pros

Wraparound rooftop terrace offering panoramic city views

Pet-friendly accommodations with nearby walking trails

Private dining room with outdoor terrace seating up to 20 guests

Vintage touches including decorative Vanderbilt University yearbooks from the 1970s

Cons

Valet-only parking available

Minimum age requirement of 21 years to reserve a room

“Fairlane Hotel strikes me as a calculated blend of retro charm and modern Nashville energy, a place where the location is undeniably prime for hitting Broadway. The design leans into that curated, stylish vibe, though some might find the added fees a bit of a discordant note against the otherwise smooth experience. Ultimately, it's a solid choice if being in the heart of the action outweighs a few extra charges.”

Mixed experience. Improvements needed

faulty telephone missed towel replacement

The location was satisfactory and within walking distance to some areas.

The telephone in my room did NOT work. I also noticed the housekeeping staff did not replace the towels one day . That is unacceptable for THE price.
