The Georgian House, Glasgow

The Georgian House is a restored Victorian townhouse with original architectural features. Room options include single, double, twin, and family en-suite rooms. Room One features views overlooking Glasgow Botanic Gardens, a large double bed, two single beds, a 32" Freeview TV, and an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Room Four, the largest on the first floor, offers views of Kibble Palace in the Botanic Gardens, a 32" Freeview TV, and an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath. Room Five is a sunny room on the first floor with a window overlooking Great Western Road and an en-suite bathroom with shower. Room Six, on the ground floor, has a double bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, and is pet-friendly. Self Catering Room Seven is a studio apartment with an open-plan living/dining/kitchen area and views of the Botanic Gardens; it includes a double bed, a single bed, and a 32" Freeview TV. Room Eight offers a double and single bed, an en-suite bathroom with shower, and windows overlooking Òran Mór and Great Western Road. Room Nine features a comfortable twin room with views overlooking the trees on Buckingham Terrace, an en-suite bathroom with shower, and an additional bathroom with shower. Room Ten, located on the lower ground floor with car park access, has twin single beds, an en-suite bathroom with shower, and a 32" Freeview TV. All rooms include free Wi-Fi, ironing and tea/coffee facilities. Select rooms add a sitting area, dining table, washing machine, dryer, cookware/kitchen utensils, electric kettle, carpeted floor, parquet floor, and free toiletries.

The hotel does not have its own on-site restaurant. The bright breakfast room provides a continental buffet breakfast Monday to Sunday from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. However, The Georgian House is positioned across from Oran Mor Restaurant. Food court with restaurants such as Nando's or Di Maggios is available at the St. Enoch Centre.

The Georgian House provides lodging and lacks extensive leisure facilities. A cinema (Grosvenor) is five minutes away. Guests can enjoy the Botanic Gardens. Pets are welcome. You can make sand castles at the Hamleys toy store.

The Georgian House is in Glasgow's West End, near Ashton Lane and across from Òran Mór. It is near the University of Glasgow, and hospitals (Beatson, Nuffield, Gartnavel, Queen Elizabeth, and the temporary SECC Hospital). Kelvingrove and Hillhead underground stations are close. The SSE Hydro and Armadillo Concert Hall are nearby. Glasgow Airport is eight miles away.
