decent stay, some issues present
gluten-free browniesnoisy kitchenkitchen extractor
the complimentary brownies in the room were gluten-free. this suited my dietary requirements.
the room was above the pub kitchen. it was very noisy with staff stacking items early in the morning. a huge kitchen extractor was right outside the bedroom window causing unwanted noise.

small roomstreet noise
the room felt smaller than expected despite being a 'comfy double'. the bathroom lacked proper ventilation so the mirror fogged up quickly after a shower it took a while to clear. also, the noise from the street was quite noticeable throughout the night it disrupted my sleep. finally, the breakfast buffet seemed a bit limited in options especially for someone wanting healthier choices.

the breakfast had a very good selection available. it included both hot and cold options. the eggs benedict were recommended, so i tried them. the staff were polite and ready to help with any questions.
i noticed some dust. thick dust was visible on the beer bottles and lamp shades. there was also an annoying beeping sound. it went off constantly, about every five minutes or so.
