Homeport Historic B&B, Saint John

Homeport Historic B&B offers 10 accommodations, ranging from Standard to Premium suites. Each room includes a private bathroom, free Wi-Fi, and a TV with a DVD player. Suites have either harbor or garden views. Room No. 2 (Queen bed) features a clawfoot tub/shower and views of Douglas Avenue and the side and back gardens. Room No. 3 (Queen and single beds) has a triple bay window with views of the town and harbor, plus a claw foot tub. Room No. 5 (Queen spectacular Bay of Fundy view) has an English Walnut bed and a sitting area with a desk. Room No. 6 (queen bed and water views) has a queen-size Sleigh Bed. Room No. 8 (Large 2 rooms queen suite) is on the second floor, with views of the back gardens and Douglas Avenue, and includes a kitchenette with a fridge, sink, and microwave plus a double pull-out sofa bed. Room No. 9 (queen and sunrise) faces historic Fort Howe and includes a cast iron soaker tub/shower. Room No. 7 (Elegant main floor Queen Suite) Premium Suite on reception level (less stairs). It is a huge space with a bedroom and sitting room. Finally, a marvellous Queen four poster bed with our top-of-the-line 500-count linens will lull you to sleep at the end of the day. Room No. 10 (Grace and Space) has an 1820s Queen Sleigh Bed and views of the side gardens. Some rooms feature a seating area and a cable TV with a DVD player. Suites have premium bedding, bathrobes, and sound-insulated walls.

The B&B provides a free full breakfast. Hot cooked breakfast is provided each day from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. The breakfast has views of the sea and includes protein, carbs, fruit, yogurt, and beverages. Guests can choose from pastries, cereal, and a hot breakfast, such as waffles and bacon, eggs Benedict, or French toast. Brown bag breakfasts are available for guests leaving early, such as for the morning ferry. A snack bar/deli is available.

Guests can relax on the shaded terrace and in the garden, which has views of the Bay of Fundy, the city skyline, and the historic port of Saint John. Onsite, there are board games, books, and a DVD library. Kayaking tours are available. Guests can enjoy golfing and hiking in the surroundings. Stonehammer Geopark and Reversing Falls are nearby.

Homeport Historic B&B is located in the historical district of Saint John. It is 2 km from St Joseph's Hospital and 1.8 km from St Joseph's Hospital. The City Centre is a 3-minute drive. Saint John is 30 km away. The B&B is less than 10 minutes from the ferry terminal. Landmarks nearby include SKYWALK Saint John (2 km), Saint John Coast Guard Base Lighthouse (1 km), and Reversing Falls Rapids (2 km).

Homeport Historic B&B provides free Wi-Fi in public areas, a business center, a computer station, and a library. There is luggage storage space. The B&B features a bar/lounge and self parking. Housekeeping service is available. Pets (dogs and cats) are welcome. There is a fireplace in the common area and outdoor seating. Due to the historic nature of the Homeport Inn buildings and with being situated atop a hill there is, unfortunately, no way to avoid stairs.
