The Kennard is located in an elegant Georgian town house dating from 1794. It once provided lodging for visitors to Bath. The building is located on a quiet residential street, within walking distance of the Roman Baths, Thermae Spa, and most of the city's attractions.

The Kennard features twelve recently refurbished and individually decorated bedrooms on five floors. Room types include superior doubles, standard doubles, snug doubles, two singles with a shared bathroom, a twin, and a triple room. Rooms offer views of the garden and city or of the street. The high ceiling rooms are the former reception rooms of the Georgian townhouse. Bedrooms have an en suite bathroom. Amenities include free wireless internet access, smart TVs, and tea trays with homemade biscuits. Bathrooms include The White Company products, free toiletries, a shower, a hairdryer, and slippers. Rooms include ironing facilities, heating, a sitting area, electric kettle, a flat-screen TV, and carpeted floors. Superior double rooms are located at the front of the house on the first and ground floors. They have a high ceiling, double windows, a writing desk, and a seating area. The bedrooms feature a king-size canopy or sleigh bed. Located on the first and second floors, the 2 single rooms have a wash basin only. The shower room, for exclusive use of these 2 rooms, is located on the landing. A bathrobe and slippers are provided. Located on the second floor and overlooking the garden, this en suite bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, also features a plasma-screen TV. Offering an en-suite shower. the double rooms are located on either the ground floor or third floor. The bedroom features a plasma-screen TV. Providing free toiletries and bathrobes, this double room includes a private bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer and slippers. This double room features a tea and coffee maker, flat-screen TV, garden views, as well as chocolate for guests. The unit offers 1 bed.
Breakfast and Other
Breakfast is served in the basement, in what was once the house's kitchen. A cold buffet includes freshly prepared fruit salad, homemade granola, parfait, pastries, spreads and jams, as well as apple, cranberry juices and orange juice. Award-winning hot breakfast is made to order, including the full English, egg Benedict and Royale, avocado with poached egg, Lyme and thyme marinated mushrooms with poached egg served on toasted sourdough bread, and the in-house favourite cheese omelette, amongst other dishes. There is also an honesty bar arrangement on a landing. Freshly ground coffees are roasted in Bristol by Wogan Coffee.
Leisure Activities
Guests are welcome to use the Georgian-style garden at any time, weather permitting. Thermae Bath Spa, Britain's only natural thermal spa, offers traditional and state-of-the-art spa facilities.
