The hotel had some positive aspects like a polite staff and decent cleanliness, but it also fell short in several areas. The pool was off-limits during my stay, and the location is not ideal for exploring Charleston without a car. It's pet-friendly, which is a plus for those traveling with animals, but I wouldn't consider it a great value for the price given the issues I encountered.
