The hotel had some positive aspects like a polite staff and decent cleanliness, but it also fell short in several areas. The pool was off-limits during my stay, and the location is not ideal for exploring Charleston without a car. It’s pet-friendly, which is a plus for those traveling with animals, but I wouldn't consider it a great value for the price given the issues I encountered.

The room seemed clean initially, but I found something on the floor right when I walked in, which made me question the thoroughness of the cleaning. There were also only two washcloths for four guests, and essentials like a trash can and refrigerator were missing.

While the staff was accommodating and tried to assist, I faced significant delays with maintenance and had to follow up multiple times about my concerns. Their response times were not impressive.

The location offered some convenience for getting to Charleston, but it felt a bit remote. Without a car, it would be challenging to reach the historic areas or even find basic amenities nearby.
