It is about a 20-minute drive to central Munich, or 25- to 30-minute trip via public transportation. Marienplatz and the cathedral are 2 miles away. Bus line 55 stops right outside the door. To get to the center and Theresienwiese, take the metro directly in about 20 minutes. From Munich Airport, take the S8 or S1 train to Ostbahnhof station (50 minutes). From Munich Central Station, take the S1-S8 trains toward Ostbahnhof.
