charmed stay at a very good hotel
historic charm duck march prime location room cleanliness
The hotel exuded history and charm, i noticed immediately upon arrival. the famed duck march was quite a spectacle, i even watched them go up the lift. the location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions. I found several restaurants within walking distance. i also appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of my roomwith a nice rest.
i thought the sink in my room drained a bit slowly.

the beautiful king room featured comfortable bedding and ample space for luggage. climate controls worked efficiently, maintaining a pleasant temperature. a well-lit desk area allowed for comfortable work in the room.

Chez philippe offered a refined dining experience. i enjoyed the selection of wines. It complemented the meal nicely. the service was attentive, but not intrusive.

The hotel has a well-equipped gym. I saw several treadmills. the pool area has plenty of loungers. there is valet parking available for added convenience. I found it efficient.

historic ducks and downtown charm
spacious room downtown location
the staff were always cute, from airport pickup to drop off. my queen size room was very spacious and well-decorated. being in downtown, i could easily walk to beale street.
the swimming pool is in the basement and it feels cold. it was difficult to access the lifts because of too many people there only to see the ducks but not purchasing anything.

the queen room offered ample space, with thoughtful decorations that enhanced the romantic mood. there were two separate sinks and a rainfall shower in the spacious bathroom. blackout curtains ensured a restful sleep.

The service staff showed smiles. staff were responsive to requests. They even helped me with directions. the airport pickup and drop off was smooth.

The lobby provided a lovely atmosphere. It was like a step back in time. the hotel location made exploring downtown easy. the shops within the hotel offered various souvenirs.

the sewing kit in the bathroom was a thoughtful touch. i also found a shower cap, something often overlooked, but very useful, apply, twice.
i couldn't get an espresso at either location, a minor disappointment. apply, twice.

amazing views convenient location long walk non-working ice
the skydeck offered amazing views, especially at sunset. the location was also very convenient, with access to nearby attractions.
the self-parking area was quite a long walk from the hotel entrance, including several sets of stairs. the ice machines on my floor were not working, so getting ice became inconvenient.

sensor lights false alarm
the alarm in my room sounded at 6:00 a.m., i had not set it! sensor lights came on all night, disrupting my sleep, even though i stayed in bed. a good night's sleep remains important at a hotel, even for leisure travelers. the experience was unsettling.
