Porta da Mar, restored in 2017, offers six rooms with fine wooden floors and Murano-glass chandeliers. Rooms include air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Each room is furnished with precious fabrics and curtains, and features hypoallergenic mattresses, a private bathroom with a large shower, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries. Rooms also include independent air conditioning, an LCD television with international channels, a safe, and Wi-Fi. Accommodations include two Junior Suites with views of St Mark's Basin. Double rooms overlook the property's private inner courtyard or a calle. A double room for single use is available with a French bed. Suites feature a seating area and sea view. All rooms are accessible via stairs.

It is located in the Castello district, near Venice Naval Museum and 900 metres from Basilica San Marco and a 12 minute walk from Piazza San Marco.

From Marco Polo International Airport, guests can take the Alilaguna Blu or Red Line motorboat to Arsenale. From Venezia Santa Lucia Station, take ACTV Line 4.1 or Line 1 to Arsenale. From Piazzale Roma, take ACTV Line 4.1 or Line 1 and get off at ' Arsenale '. From Tronchetto, take Line 4.1 or Line 1 to ' Arsenale '. Porta da Mar is a 2-minute walk from the Arsenale Vaporetto waterbus stop. Guests can take the ACTV waterbus line 2. Guests can take the shuttle bus to Venezia Piazzale Roma.

Junior Suites have views of St Mark's Basin and include a spacious wardrobe and a well-stocked minibar. The bathroom features a modern shower, fresh towels, and toiletries.
