Prakriti Aalay features rooms, suites, and private villas that celebrate the Kangra heritage. Rooms offer a king-size bed with plump pillows, a snug duvet, close storage, a writing table and chair, a coffee table, comfort chairs, a storage box, and a dressing area. Bathrooms have a bath or shower and free toiletries. There is no TV. Mountain and River View Rooms afford a sunrise vista over the Himalayas, overlooking the white-water rivulet Manooni. Some bathrooms have a view of the river, forest, and mountains. Villas offer views of the Dhauladhars, forest, and stream. Superior Double Rooms include air conditioning and a balcony with views of the river and mountains or the forest and mountains. Standard Double Rooms are on the ground floor with a view of either the river or the forest. Family Rooms offer two bedrooms with a king-size bed in each, a balcony, and sofa chairs with a tea table. The Three-Bedroom Cottage includes a kitchen equipped with a microwave, induction cooktop, cookware, and utensils.

Prakriti Aalay's main restaurant has a brightly lit indoor dining space spread over two floors, a conservatory with seating, a lounge, and an outdoor terrace with views of the Himalayas. There is no menu. Local chefs prepare delicacies inspired by authentic flavors using produce from local farms. Guests can dine in the ground floor hall, decorated with lights and naturally temperature controlled. Outdoor dining is available riverside, in the forest, or on the yoga deck. The upcoming bar will offer a setting for conversations.

Prakriti Aalay is for bird watchers and those who love hikes, walks, and small treks. Guests can view the Triund and Inderhar Pass. Activities include bird-watching, photography in the rivulet trails, exploring hamlets, organic farming, in-house games, and adventure sports. The location allows for paragliding, cycling, and high-altitude trekking. Guests can visit monasteries.

Prakriti Aalay is located in Dharamshala, 5 km from Kangra. It is near markets, the international cricket stadium, the zonal hospital, the central university, the golf course, tea gardens, monasteries, temples, and treks. The resort is accessed through a trek of fifty meters and a footbridge.

Prakriti Aalay is a green building designed by Didi Alias Delia. The eco practices are ahead of global guidelines. The resort is constructed with stones, sundried adobes, bamboos, recycled wood, and natural slates. Fans are provided in rooms, with oil heaters in winter. All-weather air conditioners are available in select rooms.
