great location warm welcome delicious pancakes cold water water bottles a c issues
The location was great for visiting museums and monuments. The staff welcomed me warmly. I enjoyed breakfast at Cafe Riggs. The pancakes were delicious (I love pancakes!).
There was no cold water available from the shower or sink. Water bottles were not provided in the room, nor were any available for purchase in the mini fridge. The a/c was not cooling, and the thermostat read 78 degrees Fahrenheit .

convenient location friendly staff tasty food shower problems hot water wet comforter
the location was convenient. the hotel was next to the smithsonian museums and many restaurants. the staff was friendly. there was tasty food and drinks served in the nice restaurant.
our shower had problems. the first night it was scolding hot. when going to use it again, it was freezing. one of our comforters was wet when returning to the room after it was cleaned.

clean rooms helpful staff small bathroom limited plugs
The hotel offered very clean rooms. The bedding in my room felt luxurious. The hotel also has a superb location close to many attractions. I found the front desk staff very helpful during check-in.
The bathroom was quite small. The shower's hot and cold valves did not work well. There were limited plugs making charging devices inconvenient. I found the refrigerator filled with overpriced items.
