Sheraton Buganvilias Resort & Convention Center features newly renovated oceanfront rooms and suites. Each room includes luxury bedding, a marble bathroom, a flat-screen TV with cable, air conditioning, ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, a mini-bar, and a sitting area. Select rooms offer a terrace, trouser press, or patio with garden furniture. Bathrooms provide free toiletries. Room types include double rooms with one or two beds, with views of the sea, pool, or garden.
Dining Choices
The resort has six restaurants and four bars. Options include breakfast buffets, continental-style meals, Mexican cuisine, and cocktails. Gaviotas provides a four-diamond dining experience with Mexican cuisine. Arroceria is an open-air restaurant with international rice dishes. Alfresco Trattoria serves Italian cuisine outdoors. Alfresco Pizzeria is a family-friendly, outdoor restaurant that offers brick-oven pizzas. La Villita is an open-air restaurant. A seasonal seafood restaurant is located by the beach. La Villita's breakfast buffet features hot entrées, bread, cereal, yogurt, fruits, juices, and made-to-order omelets. The Sunday brunch includes unlimited champagne and live music.
Leisure and Activities
The resort offers two outdoor pools with swim-up bars. Guests have access to four tennis courts, and a 24-hour fitness center with Technogym equipment and LCD TVs on each cardiovascular machine, plus an area for weights and stretching. The Sheraton Spa offers six massage techniques and marine mud wraps. Children can enjoy Sheratoons, with entertainment and activities. The spa includes plunge pools, steam rooms, fitness classes and fitness counseling.
