“Here's what I think: the location on the rapids is undeniably beautiful, with some thoughtfully placed fire pits and barbecue grills by the cabins; clearly, a spot designed for long evenings outdoors. While it seems the property has seen better days, the friendly staff and good food, especially those wings at the restaurant, add a lot of appeal. I'd say it's a solid base for exploring the Boundary Waters.”
