Spacious Rooms & Views
The luxury guest rooms and suites at the Sofitel Marrakech Palais Impérial & Spa offer a private balcony overlooking the garden, Atlas Mountains, or pool area. Dining & Restaurants
The hotel has five restaurants, but only two are open for dinner. L'Orangerie serves gourmet, olive oil-inspired, and healthy spa dishes on a terrace with views of the Atlas Mountains. The Oasis poolside restaurant offers chicken mechoui and salade niçoise. Breakfast is a buffet with Moroccan and international options, including msemen and baghrir pancakes, fresh juices, and made-to-order eggs. There are also gluten-free options available. Note that the breakfast room can get busy and the poolside food quality has been reported as inconsistent. Bar Palais Darkum serves international teas and has a lounge area.
Pools, Spa & Entertainment
The hotel has five swimming pools-two main outdoor pools (one heated), a shallow family pool, and an adults-only rooftop pool (not always accessible to all guests). The spa includes an indoor pool, hammam, hot tub, sauna, and a fitness centre with Technogym equipment and personal training. Treatments include Moroccan hammam scrubs, massages, facials, and body wraps. Evening entertainment includes live music at Lawrence Bar and a DJ at So Lounge. The nightclub stays open until 4 a.m. and can be loud. There is also a games room, table tennis, and a children's playground.
Location & Getting Around
Sofitel Marrakech Palais Impérial & Spa is an 800-metre walk from Jemaa el-Fna Square and 1 km from Bahia Palace. The hotel is next to a casino and a 15-minute walk from the Medina. Marrakech Menara Airport is a 10-minute drive away. A taxi to the Medina costs about 50 MAD. The hotel offers valet parking, a car service (availability may vary), and an electric vehicle charging station. Note that airport transfers booked through the hotel can cost significantly more than external providers.
