Springhill Suites By Marriott San Luis Obispo, San Luis Obispo

All rooms are suites with a separate living area divided by a partial wall. Each suite includes a flat-screen TV, desk, microwave, and small fridge. Some corner suites offer natural light and views. The bathroom has a sliding door and a walk-in shower. Beds are comfortable, but some guests noted the mattress might be firm.

Complimentary buffet breakfast includes scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, breakfast burritos, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, and fruit salad. The breakfast area is small, so lines can form during peak hours (6:30-9:00 AM weekdays, 7:00-9:30 AM weekends). The hotel also has a restaurant serving American dishes and a cocktail bar. A brewery/pub is located next door, and the SLO Ranch Marketplace (2-minute walk) has multiple food options.

The outdoor swimming pool is heated. The 24/7 fitness center has free weights up to 23 kg, a multi-purpose weight machine, and cardio equipment. There is also a barbecue area with grills for guest use.

The hotel is 4 km from Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa, 7 km from California Polytechnic State University, and 7 km from San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport. It is a 5-minute drive to downtown SLO, and 10 minutes to Pismo Beach. Stores like Target, Costco, and Sprouts are within walking distance.

The hotel offers a 24-hour front desk, business center, and free Wi-Fi. There is private parking available for $15 per night. Housekeeping is provided every other day, and extra towels or toiletries are available on request. The hotel also has a shared lounge and terrace.
