Sunshine Taksim Suite, Istanbul

Each unit at Sunshine Taksim Suite includes air conditioning, soundproofed walls, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, slippers, and a hairdryer. The kitchens come with a stovetop, fridge, kettle, and kitchenware. Some rooms also feature a washing machine. The building has no elevator, and rooms are accessed via narrow stairs.

There is no onsite restaurant. Guests can cook their own meals using the fully equipped kitchen in each unit. A 24-hour supermarket is around the corner, and dozens of restaurants and food stalls are within a 5-minute walk on Istiklal Street and near Taksim Square.

Taksim Square, Galata Tower, and Dolmabahce Clock Tower are all within 1 km. Note that the street is on a steep hill, and the immediate alley is narrow.

The front desk is open 24 hours and offers a safety deposit box. Staff members Ali and Volkan are known for carrying luggage up the stairs, storing bags for several days (as reported by guests), and giving detailed advice on local transport and sights. Check-in includes complementary coffee, tea, and a bottle of water. Payment is accepted in cash only.
