The Read House offers a unique blend of historical charm and luxurious experience, making it a memorable stay. I found the atmosphere to truly transport me back in time, with stunning decor and exceptional staff. However, parking and room service could use improvements, especially during inclement weather. Overall, this hotel represents great value, particularly for those seeking a taste of history in their stay.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms were beautifully decorated but felt a bit plain compared to the elaborate common areas. I expected a bit more flair for the price, yet they were clean and the bedding was incredibly comfortable.
Service
8.0
The service was noteworthy, with staff being attentive and very willing to assist guests. However, the valet service during rain was less than ideal, leaving me soaked.
Location
9.0
The hotel is ideally located, making it easy to explore Chattanooga's attractions and nearby dining options, which is a huge plus.
Dining
7.0
Dining options are somewhat limited, with room service or the Starbucks on-site. The restaurant within the hotel is top-notch but quite pricey.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel features beautiful common areas, though I felt the focus could be more on enhancing the room facilities. The indoor pool is a lovely addition.
