Each suite's kitchen includes a coffee bodum or drip machine, pots and pans, dishes, a popcorn maker, a blender, a kettle and utensils, and dish cloths/towels. Each suite includes coffee beans from No. 6 Coffee, a local roastery, as well as tea from Virtue Tea, a local company. Spices and staples include coffee, tea, salt/pepper, extra virgin olive oil, organic balsamic vinegar, pasta, sauce, and Annie's organic cheese pasta. Nelson has 50 restaurants and cafes. Beauties Pizza on Baker Street serves pizza, draft beer, craft cocktails, and stone-baked NY-style pizza. Cantina Del Centro on Baker Street serves Mexican food. Tamil Kitchen on Baker Street serves South Indian food. The Black Cauldron on Herridge Lane serves charcuterie share plates and cocktails.

Guests can walk to Baker Street, explore shops and galleries, or view restored homes with gardens. Nelson ArtWalk, an annual exhibition, displays visual artists' work in local businesses.
