the room was really clean. the staff was friendly and helpful. i appreciated the delicious breakfast with many options. the location was about a half hour walk to the main attractions, which i found pleasant, i think a taxi would be needed for those with mobility issues.
the building has high ceilings. the lift was out of order, and walking up the stairs to the room on the third floor was challenging after a long day. it appears the lift has not worked for a while.

The milk for my tea had soured. It curdled as soon as i poured it in. breakfast felt quite small. the potato scone was overcooked, more like leather. the staff didn't seem to do anything about it, not even offer fresh milk!
