Glacier House Resort provides accommodations ranging from cozy cabins to spacious rooms. Cozy Studio cabins have 2 queen beds and a pull-out couch, with a bathroom, living area, dining table, and fully equipped kitchen. Loft Cabins feature a king-size bed, pull-out couch, bathroom, living room, dining table, and fully equipped kitchen on the first floor, with the bedroom in the loft. Family Cabins include 2 bedrooms, one or two pull-out couches, a bathroom, living room, dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen. Premium Family cabins offer 2 bedrooms (one with a queen-size bed, the other with 2 single beds), two bathrooms, a living area, dining table, and fully equipped kitchen. Small Group cabins accommodate up to 7 guests in a duplex-style cabin with 2 bathrooms, a living area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The two-story Large Group cabin sleeps up to 12 guests and features 6 bedrooms, a bathroom with 2 toilets and 2 showers, a living room, dining table, fully equipped kitchen, and a drying room. Economy One King Bed Rooms have a south-facing balcony overlooking the Begbie Glacier. Single King Rooms face north. Double King rooms face south and offer views of the mountains. King Suites provide a south-facing balcony overlooking the Begbie Glacier, a king-size bed, a pull-out couch, and a seating area with a gas fireplace. Some units allow pets.
Dining Options
The Gallery Restaurant offers a complimentary continental breakfast consisting of bagels, croissants, fruits, and cereals, as well as coffee, tea, and juices, during the Summer and Winter seasons. A hot American-style breakfast buffet, including a selection of hot food, tea, coffee, and juice, is also available. Dinner is available from December to March. The Glacier House Pub is open during the Winter season and features appetizers, salads, and entrees, along with a children's menu. Packed lunches can be prepared by the kitchen staff with orders placed by 8 PM the night before and picked up by 8:45 AM.
Activities and Amenities
Glacier House Resort offers guests access to a public hot tub in the Lodge building at no additional cost. Winter activities include cross-country skiing on 26 kilometers of groomed trails, with 6 km of lit trails for night skiing. Snowshoes are available for rent. Guided tours are available, focusing on local plant and animal species, wildlife tracking, and local history. During the summer, guests can hike trails directly from the resort, including to Moses Falls. The resort is located near the Revelstoke Golf Club.
Location & Access
Located a 10-minute drive from Revelstoke Bridge, Glacier House Resort is set between the Selkirk and Monashee mountain ranges. It is positioned 6 hours north of Vancouver and 4.5 hours south of Calgary on the Trans-Canada Highway. Revelstoke offers views of the Mount Begbie glacier and is near attractions such as Skunk Cabbage Boardwalk (5 km), Revelstoke Railway Museum (5 km) and Moses Falls (2 km).
