Really good Stay near Gare du Nord!

The location was excellent, just a short walk from Gare du Nord station. I appreciated the friendly staff who allowed me to check in a couple of hours early. Yaya was especially kind. They also held my bags for two hours after checkout, enabling me to enjoy one last lunch. This was super helpful.
The area around the hotel felt a little unsafe at night, so I always took a taxi.

The hotel is very close to Gare du Nord, providing convenient access to trains and metros. There are many grocery stores, cafes, and restaurants within easy WALKING distance, and this makes the area convenient for travelers. This is a big PLUS.

The lobby had a coffee machine available . The staff were courteous, and Arestin was very efficient. HE even organized a last-minute medical appointment nearby. The staff goes ABOVE and beyond .

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped WITH amenities. I really liked the shower, and the bed was also very comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent, made the room a restful ENVIROMENT.

the front desk let me store my luggage, acceptable.
the room faced a very noisy street so sound insulation seemed nonexistent. it was practically daylight in the room all night and the noise continued late and started up early. i expected better soundproofing in this old building.

Acceptable Location. Problems with Item Handling
metal staplesdamaged suit
I left a garment bag and requested care when packaging items for DHL retrieval. It contained a haute couture suit. Staff placed the bag into a box with protruding metal staples. This damaged the garment bag and the suit. The hotel demonstrated a lack of care!!!

the staff were kind, a detail i expected from a hotel of this supposed caliber.
The room decor felt very outdated, and that really affected my perception of cleanliness. It just didn't feel fresh or well-kept. the outdated decor affected my overall experience negatively.
