great location friendly staff helpful staff thin walls bad smell dirty mattresses
The location is great! lots of restaurants are nearby. the staff were friendly and helpful. They let us keep our luggage for a few hours after checkout. i appreciate that!
the walls seemed really thin, so i could hear people in the hallway. the bathroom pipes had a bad smell. i kept the bathroom door closed because of it. there was also a lot of dust, and the mattresses didn't look very clean.

good location, small inconveniences
great location friendly staff clean sheets
the hotel is in a great location. a lovely high street with shops and bakeries is right outside. i found many restaurants and bars near moulin rouge, all within walking distance. the staff was friendly, and the sheets were clean. plus, the tiny balconies had nice views.
the walls were thin, and i heard people in the common space. the pipes in the bathroom had a terrible smell. i couldn't leave the bathroom door open. there was no safe in the room, so i felt i needed to carry passports.

the hotel offers breakfast for about $15 canadian, though i skipped it for a local bakery. there is a spacious lounge on the main floor. an antique, tiny elevator goes to the fifth floor.

the hotel is in a quiet area near a metro station. a fun street with many cafes, brasseries, and bistros is nearby. sacre coeur is within walking distance. the moulin rouge is also easily accessible.

the renovated room included a balcony with a view. the provided linens included bed sheets and sufficient toilet paper. the room had enough space to satisfy me. the room was cleaned daily and towels replaced.

a decent stay
superb location clean room friendly welcome noisy street claustrophobic room mould issue
the location of the hotel was superb. the room was clean and modern. the staff provided a friendly welcome at reception (i appreciate this).
the street outside was very noisy. the room felt quite claustrophobic. there was mould in the bathroom, it was also quite small.

missing amenities complimentary water
I was initially pleased with the location, close to many shops. The elevator was small, barely fitting one person with luggage. the room lacked basic amenities (not even cups were available). I also did not appreciate the absence of complimentary drinking water in the room. These small details diminished the overall experience.
