“Invicta Hotel Plymouth presents a mixed bag; its friendly staff and convenient location near Plymouth Hoe are definite pluses, yet dated rooms and some maintenance issues raise concerns about value for money. While the complimentary breakfast and historic charm appeal, potential guests should consider if these outweigh reported drawbacks in room quality and amenities. I believe travelers prioritizing location and a personalized experience might find it suitable, but only with tempered expectations regarding room conditions.”

The breakfast staff were very attentive. I appreciated the good location. The entrance area looked very nice. Beds were comfortable , but they moved around.
I was disappointed by check in problems and the room was not clean enough. I noticed we were quite high up in the building , and there were no safety restrictors on the windows. Light bulbs were missing or flickering in the stairwell.

the breakfast included a good choice of dishes and the staff were helpful. i suppose that's acceptable..
My single room felt quite neglected. the shower barely worked. It was more like a drip. when i mentioned it, they admitted they knew about the low water pressure, yet they still rented the room.. it seems they are aware and just don't care..
