My stay at La Quinta Inn in Springfield, IL, was particularly disappointing. The rooms had serious cleanliness issues, with stains and unclean bathrooms that made it hard to feel comfortable. The location could be seen as inconvenient and sketchy, but it has easy access to Walmart. Unfortunately, the service was rude and unaccommodating, which really added to the negative experience. Additionally, there isn't much in the immediate area, which doesn't help if you're looking for dining options nearby.
