the staff were very helpful (i especially appreciated their local recommendations). we got complimentary orange juice each morning. the hotel has a unique, quirky style that i found quite charming.
the stairs were a bit of a challenge, as there is no lift. my room did not have a tv, a bit disappointing. the bed was quite high, i had to use a small stool to get onto it.

Really good Hospitality and Unique Charm

I experienced such a warm welcome from the team. They were helpful. The atmosphere was like a home, not just a hotel. The hotel captures the seaside charm, it has a cool, quirky vibe. Breakfast was delicious and filling, it prepared me for the day.
I faced a parking issue. Finding a space was challenging. The on-street parking required a scratch card. My daughter dropped us off and had to move the car early.

The hotel provides walkable access to town. It presents excellent views of the sea. Guests can see the Abbey from this prime vantage point.

The staff are attentive and friendly. They were very good too assure my comfort. Fresh milk and orange juice were supplied to each room daily.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful. Their customer service was excellent. the themed decoration in my room, the crows nest, was beautiful and clean. the cocktails at the bar were amazing. and the breakfast was delicious!

the communal areas felt so relaxing to me, a step back in time. the views of the abbey appearing as i woke were amazing and the bed felt so comfortable. the hotel's location allowed simple exploring.
the breakfast had no cooked options i found.

The staff was lovely. John, THE dog, was a highlight! My room had amazing views over the harbour. I also enjoyed the complimentary orange juice in the mornings. It was a nice touch.
There were a lot of stairs, and no lift, which might be difficult for some guests.
