mixed feelings at this hotel
faulty door lock questionable valet
the location worked out fine, close enough to where i needed to be.
The room had issues, specifically the door didn't lock properly. it took multiple calls before maintenance finally addressed it the next morning. i felt uneasy knowing my belongings were unsecured for a while. also, the valet service seemed questionable. I spotted my vehicle driving around hours after i had parked it.

the lobby had beautiful artwork everywhere. the artwork felt fun (i loved all the colors!). the front desk staff was friendly. the room included fast wi-fi. valet parking felt convenient.

convenient location comfortable room superb comfort functional bar
I found the location quite convenient to the Gaslamp district and Petco Park. The room proved comfortable, surprisingly quiet, and impressively dark. Beds offered superb comfort, and the shower was GREAT. The fourth-floor pool area added enjoyment with a functional bar.
The only issue I had was a slight delay at check-in. The staff seemed momentarily overwhelmed but quickly recovered and were very helpful afterwards. It wasn't a big deal, and everything else was great. I wish there were more vending machines

I REALLY appreciated the pool. It was very clean and relaxing. The fitness center offered modern equipment and sufficient space for a full workout. The on-site restaurant provided tasty meals and prompt service.

convenient tram great location small bathroom dried lime
the hotel was very clean and new! i loved the location with so many restaurants and bars nearby. it was very walkable to the ocean, about ten minutes. the tram was a three minute walk away, a super convenient thing.
the rooms were a bit small, especially the bathroom and showering area. the water control handle for the shower wasn't working too well either. i ordered a beer at the downstairs bar, but the lime was dried out
