friendly staff oatmeal breakfast double sinks
The staff was friendly! breakfast included steel cut oatmeal. I really liked this. the hotel offers two sinks in rooms. That's quite convenient (i never saw it before in a hotel of this category).
the street traffic created a bit of noise.

a decent place for a short stay
clean room kind staff varied breakfast cold pool thin walls nighttime noise
The room was clean, i found. they gave us a room upgrade. It was kind. the breakfast had many choices. I liked the waffles. the front desk staff helped me with directions very kindly.
The pool water was cold, i noted. i couldn't swim comfortably, it was frustrating. the walls are thin. I could hear people next door. the noise at night was really bothered me.

water shutoff faulty alarm
the planned water maintenance caught me off guard. i was not informed about the water shutoff until i saw a small sign at check-in. it meant i had to adjust my plans considerably that evening. the fire alarm went off early the next morning and it lasted for twenty five minutes

room odor lack of light
the room had a noticeable odor when i entered it. it was impossible to open a window to get fresh air. this meant there was no natural light available in the room at all. i found this quite disappointing for the duration of my stay.
