I chose the room only option. It suited my needs perfectly. my sister resides in motor city. the radisson was a short walk so i was out and about every day. finding cake, dates, and biscuits in my room upon my return on my birthday was a lovely touch.
check-in was difficult because the room key i received was not activated. i had to return to reception to resolve the problem! that wasn't a great start

the breakfast buffet had food for many ethnicities which was nice to see.
check-in was problematic as the room key i received was not activated, so i had to return to reception. then, i was not happy about the cigarette smoke smell in the room and cigarette burns in the carpet. i had to go back to reception to get a new room!!!

The hotel gym had a dated feel. Some equipment looked like it had seen better days. My room faced the racetrack, and the noise was quite loud at times. The sound insulation wasn't perfect and the constant roar of engines got tiresome.

the staff was friendly and helpful. the breakfast offered good quality items. i appreciated the room size and comfort of the bed. free parking was efficient.
The room only had a double wardrobe, which wasn't enough storage. the fridge did not cool effectively. cleanliness could be improved, particularly in the bathroom. There was pink scum on tile grout.
