the staff were friendly. the room was spacious very comfy and tidy for a few days. my mother enjoyed staying there.
there was no air-conditioning. there was also no elevator so luggage had to be carried up the stairs

The room had a few problems. the duvet was old, the stuffing all bunched up. an alarm went off multiple times during the night! the street lamp outside made it hard to sleep. The blind offered no help.

the superior double room was very clean and well kept. complimentary tea and coffee were provided, a nice touch. a high-powered dyson fan was available in the room, i appreciated this addition .

all staff i interacted with was friendly. the downstairs pub had great drinks. i loved that i could get coffee in my room. the location being close to the train station was very handy.
the room felt a little old. there was some marks on the walls i saw. the bathroom floor had some grout missing. i also thought the view from my window wasnt good.
